Job Description

As a Laravel Developer at 8Dots you will be responsible for designing and implementing server-side web application logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will collaborate with front-end developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality web applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms.
  • Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
  • Design and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Laravel code.
  • Integrate data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end applications.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
  • Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to meet project goals.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Laravel Developer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the Laravel framework and its core principles.
  • Proficient in PHP, MySQL, and related technologies.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience 2 to 5 Year.
